CAPABILITIES

Our Flow Waterjet machines are the largest in the industry. Using a high pressure water stream, we can cut the thickest materials in a very short period of time. Waterjet technology offers a clean precision cut with no heat affected zone on the perimeter of the cut. This eliminates post cut heat treating and carbon migration. Sheet and plate required for high volume shim applications are clamped and stacked allowing multiple parts to be cut at one time. This efficiency reduce product cost offering our customers the best value in the market.

Our Salvagnini laser machine features revolutionary mechanical and control solutions and original programming and nesting software, to assure ease of use and maximum flexibility and productivity. Cutting up to 3/16″ thick materials, the high speed cutting capabilities of the laser provides quality cutting capabilities for thinner material at a fraction of the price of water-jet cutting.

EDM

EDM can be used to machine conductive materials of any hardness (for example steel or titanium) to an accuracy of up to one-thousandth of a millimeter with no mechanical action. By virtue of these properties, EDM is one of the key technologies in mold and tool making. There are two distinct processes — wire cut and die-sinking EDM machines.
